| Well, so I have an announcement to make; God has made clear the next path He has for me to take, and I am so full on excited about it. I am going back up to Idaho, and I'm going to go on leadership with the church up there that I went to last fall when I lived in Idaho. And I'm going to go on staff for the youth group and lead a youth Bible study. My main purpose for going is to start a drama team at the youth group there. You guys have no idea how excited I am! I lead the drama team for a couple years in high school and just loved it. So I am so excited to get back into it. I am going to do the whole application proccess and get a team formed and then do lots of training and meetings, and just get the main foundation set in their hearts of what drama really is and the whole reason why it should be done. And I'm also going to train up a leader, the person who will take over the team once I leave. And I will leave in mid summer. So I'll only be gone 3 months. But I am so stoked and can't wait to see all that God has in store. I'm going to live with the youth pastor and his wife and baby, and I'm going to work at the church's preschool. God is so good and He just continues to take my breath away with how He moves. Its the biggest freedom and joy just living my life for His purpose and plan; doing only what He wants me to do. Way too cool. :)

| oh HEY!!! Soooo..... I finally updated, haha, yeah I know I know, it'd been like 2 and a half months. But life was busey in India, what can I say.haha... So I'm glad to be able to change things around a little now. Anyways.... I got home a week ago; crazy. I wish I could explain how awesome India was, there are few words I could use to describe it. I lost my heart in that place; I fell hard for the people there. BEAUTIFUL. I got my 19 roles develped the other day, so if any of you wanna see any pics let me know and I'll show you some. They give a pretty good idea of what it was like over there. So India rocked my life and God used it to change me in ways He never has before. It was by far the most challenging and stretching thing I've ever done, but by far the most rewarding experience of my life. I'll never forget it....
As much as I loved being on staff for the DTS and loved India, it is very very good to be home. I missed my family and everybody so much. So I wanna know how you guys are all doing. Let me know what you've been up to the past 6 months. K, LOVE YA!! :)
| So, I'm in India! Our team got in at like 2:30 in the morning on wednesday. And oh my word, it is amazing here, We are staying for 2 nights at this hotel that is right by the market. And it was so fun walking around and looking at all the stuff and observing the people. It feels as though I am in a real life national geographic magazine, it makes my mind boggle! Its reminds me a lot of Cambodia and Thailand, but India is even more intense. There's cows that walk around in the middle of busey streets, all the drivers drive right through red lights if there's no one coming the other direction at that moment, and in just yesterday I probably heard over 5,000 horns from cars and motobikes. Its like a movie! We are leaving here, a city called Dehli and we are taking a train later today and we are going to travel 13 hours to a city called Varanasi and we will be there for a few days doing some ministry with a YWAMer there. And then later next week we're taking another 10 hour or so train ride to the city of Kanpur, and thats where we'll be till February when we come back to America. In Kanpur we'll be doing a lot of work and help with orphanages and we'll be doing a lot with the Mother Tereasa House, and we'll do street ministries for the homeless people, especially the kids.
Well, I better get going. But I just wanted to say and big hey and let you all know that I miss you and think about you all a lot. God bless you guys and I can't wait to see you next spring. Please leave me some comments, that would mean the world to me to hear from you guys and to know how you all are doing. K, God bless you guys and I love you all a lot. ~Rach
| hey hey guys! how are ya'll?? i'm doing just dandy dandy....life here in the mountains continue to amaze me while living in such a beautiful place. While, I have some news for you; I think some of you may know this already, but anyways...... I'M GOING TO INDIA!!!!! yeah....its safe to say that i'm super stoked about it. I'm going with this DTS and 3 other staff are going. We are leaving on December 4th, and we'll be in the city of Kanpur. We will be doing tons of different ministry stuff with orphanages, Mother Teresa Houses, visiting hospitals, and the list could go on and on. so I am so completly excited and its such a dream come true. During my DTS in Hawaii God told me that I would be going to India, and knowing that that is now actually about to happen is way too cool. I can't wait to see all that God does, in the ways that He uses us to touch those lives, and I can't wait to see how He'll change us and use this outreach to push our yearnings more and more to Him. HE'S SO GOOD!!!! So I will get home in late Febuary. I really miss you guys so very much, and I can't wait to see you all when I'm home next spring. Please keep me posted you guys on how you're doing and whats going on in my beautiful Kansas homeland. K, I'll write again as soon as I can. God bless you guys, and Keep runnin strong with Jesus! ~Rach | | |
| Hey guys! How are all of ya?? I was super glad to hear from a few of you. Well.....I am positivly absolutly loving it being on staff for this DTS, like it is one of the most awesome things I've ever been a part of. The students here are completly amazing and blow me away with their maturity and desperation for God. And it has been so good being in the same town as two sets of Aunts and Uncles and cousins, it is so cool getting to see them often. So, Idaho is amazing and the DTS is going incredibally. But here's the extra cool part; we are actually in Mississippi right now. We left Idaho about 6 days ago and to a 3 day driving journy (so fun, I know) down here to the good ol south for a 10 day mini outreach to do Hurricane Katrina relief work. And let me tell you ya guys, it is so insane being down here and working with the people who lost so much in the storm; most of them lost absolutly everything expect for the clothes on their back. It has been truly heartbraking hearing their stories and its been emotionally difficult holding them as they cry, but it has been so awesome seeing the work God is doing and it has challenged me immensly seeing how for many of the believers down here, their faith and trust in the Lord never once wavered throughout this whole experience. Man, I sure hope I would do the same if I was in their shoes...I can't imagine. So yeah, once I'm home I'll have to tell yall some of the stories I've heard and the sights I seen and pictures I've taken, it'll all blow your mind.
K, Well I gotta go get some sleep, but I wanted to give a quick update and let all of you know that I really miss you all so very much. I'm praying for you guys and I'm thankful for each and every one of ya. Blessings. ~Rach
